Allow our experienced guides to show you the real city of Reykjavik, and take you to some of the breath-taking natural Icelandic sights. Soak in the blue lagoon ( entrance is included, but bring your own towel). Become educated on the wonders of Iceland in English or in Scandinavian languages. Take advantage of our complementary pick-up and drop-off service.
Our guide will pick you up half an hour before departure, or between 09:30 and 10:00 am. Next, we take off and explore the historical and architectural side of the city of Reykjavik. This includes the Pearl, the fairy tale like Hallgrimskirkja Church, the old town of Reykjavik, Harpa concert hall and the Reykjavik harbour .
We end the city tour by stopping at the new FlyOver Iceland experience. FlyOver Iceland utilizes state-of-the-art technology to give you the feeling of flight. You will hang suspended, feet dangling, before a 20-metre spherical screen while the film whisks you away on an exhilarating journey across Iceland. Special effects, including wind, mist and scents, combine with the ride’s motion to create an unforgettable experience.
After the city tour we drive to the Blue lagoon. There you can bath in the silicon-rich water, which is a very special experience. The environment surrounding the lagoon is an active geothermal area where you can see how the lava has poured over the landscape and hardened into lava formations. After the bath our coach will drive to Reykjavik for check-in to the hotels/hostels.
Entrance to the Blue lagoon is included in the price.
Remember to bring your swimming gear. If you did not bring you can rent it directly at the blue lagoon.
Free cancellation per email possible up to 24 hours prior to the tour.
The water is said to have healing powers for various skin conditions and also has a relaxing effect. This is why many people do not come to relax. They also stay at the hotel belonging to the lagoon to treat and cure skin conditions. Over the last few years the lagoon has gone through some changes. This is to be able to accommodate as many guests as possible due to the big popularity. To navigate traffic they recently have implemented a price system which charges more during more popular hours. This should steer traffic towards less popular times of the day. In any way it is not only recommended but mandatory to plan and book your visit in advance.
