Bíó Paradís is the only "independent cinema" in Iceland. They mostly focus on world cinema and host a cinema club that screens old classics every week. There is a nice cafe there and they frequently offer concerts by local musicians. During the Iceland Airwaves festival, Bíó Paradís is a popular off-venue target. This great cinema is based right in the City Center.
