Árbæjarlaug

Árbæjarlaug was opened in 1994 and quickly became the most family friendly swimming pool in the Reykjavik area. There is a nice indoor pool that connects to the outdoor pool through a little river like path that kids love to explore. 5 hot tubs and quite nice steam bath as well which has newly been refurbished. Here you will mostly meet local people enjoying themselves after a hard days work. If you want to bypass the tourist traffic you should definitely visit Árbæjarlaug, especially on a good sunny summer day.

What is lacking:
Cold tub, hot dog stand.

Fridays: 06.30 - 20.00
Saturdays & Sundays: 09.00 - 18.00
