The Northern Lights tour in Iceland offers the chance to witness a spectacular natural phenomenon, visible during the winter months from September to April. Also known as the Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights are caused by the interaction of solar particles with the Earth's upper atmosphere near the North Pole. The tour locations vary daily, depending on weather conditions, making sightings unpredictable. If you don’t see the Northern Lights during your tour, you can join another tour free of charge.
Please note that return times may vary. Since the tour takes place at night and during the winter, we strongly recommend dressing warmly. While the coaches are heated, the best views are often outside, where you may spend some time searching for or enjoying the lights. Warm footwear and headgear will enhance your experience.
