Hótel Cabin Reykjavík

This laid-back Icelandic hotel in a modern building is 2 km from both Sun Voyager, a stainless steel sculpture of a boat along the Sculpture & Shore Walk, and Harpa concert hall and conference center.

Hotel Cabin was opened in Reykjavík in May 1997 and had only the small standard rooms in the beginning. In 2007 the hotel was renovated and added a new building where guests now find the Superior rooms. At the same time the 7th floor was added with superior rooms with a view. By doing this the hotel went from 152 rooms to 252 rooms with 174 standard rooms, 64 Superior rooms and 14 superior rooms with a view. Recently all the standard rooms were renovated and a few of the standard rooms were combined into family rooms. Now the hotel has 249 rooms in total.

The restaurant on the 1st floor has also been open from 1997 but in different versions. In 2003 the salad bar was opened and has been very popular ever since.
